Our story

Weight Loss Women exists because generic weight-loss advice keeps failing women — particularly those over 40. Most mainstream content was never designed with female physiology in mind, let alone the hormonal realities of perimenopause and menopause.

We started this site to be the resource we wished existed: warm, evidence-based, kind, and rigorously practical. No fads. No fear-mongering. No before-and-after shock content.

Our approach

Every article on this site follows three principles:

  • Grounded in science. Current nutritional research, exercise physiology, and women's health evidence — clearly explained, never oversimplified.
  • Practical for real life. Strategies that work around busy schedules, family, and the actual constraints women face.
  • Kind. No extreme claims, no shock content, no unrealistic expectations.

Editorial policy

We clearly distinguish between evidence-based information, expert opinion, and personal experience. Where we recommend products, we disclose affiliate relationships. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage, and we do not include products in roundups solely because they offer affiliate commissions.
